Well we
can do things one of several ways. Of
course you will have to have an Internet connection and you obviously do or you
wouldn’t have found this site. A FAST
Internet connection is STRONGLY recommended! (DSL or BROADBAND CABLE) The best way to get
together and exchange the amount of data that is required can be very time
consuming if you’re dealing with a 56K modem.
The very
best is if you have a fast Internet connection, a web cam and microphone. Then I will send you a small software
application that will let us see and chat without being monitored or bothered
except by a bad day on the Net. This
way when it gets time to be able to “see” what you’re doing I can and you can
also “see” what I’m trying to show you.
Fixed Digital Photo Cameras are “okay” but not the best. Besides a web cam is only about $30 these
days and a microphone is about $5!
I also
use the U.S. mail and have used FedEx and UPS several times to get things back
and fourth. Usually I end up sending
the course material in paper form in this case and or CD’s with software and
such things that I have burned for you as part of the course. I’m very dedicated to you getting the
correct materials that you need in order to learn the data I’m trying to teach
you! J
Ultimately
you will need to be able to get all the items on the list of required tools and
“stuff”. I provide all the course
materials and tests, either paper or electronic, and can provide you with the
required tools and “stuff” if you so choose.
You going out to buy them yourself will only save you the cost of
shipping the “stuff” to you unless you’re like me and have access to an
inexhaustible supply of electronic junk. (“Stuff”)
Certain items are crucial to your education and will not be able to be substituted. Most of these items I get in bulk like old circuit boards for you to practice soldering on and I include them in the course cost unless you are only doing the theory work. Hands on means just that and I insist on a large amount of it!!
